Repercussion - A novel by Rob Alexander aka Ginge Houghton Ex 2 Troop 9 Sqn

Ginge Houghton (ex 2 troop in the seventies) has published a book, writing as Rob Alexander. It should be of interest to many ex Squadron members from the same era, as the Squadron is mentioned and some of the characters may seem familiar!! He is also making a donation to BLESMA and Combat Stress from every book sold and P&P is free within the UK. The web site is www.houghtonbooks.co.uk

About the Novel

The Mafia, a case of mistaken identity, a beautiful femme fatale with a heart of stone and international terrorists intent on the destruction of the world's financial markets give this novel all the makings of a blockbuster.  In this first outing for the author, he takes us on a roller coaster ride where one thing is certain - they may be a little older than they were, a bit slower than they used to be, but you do not mess with former Marines or Paras if you know what's good for you

About the Author
Rob Alexander is a pen name, but the rest of the information is true – honest!

Rather a varied life so far. Ex-Para, served with 9 Parachute Squadron Royal Engineers in the seventies. I then ran a retail business for over a decade before deciding to go to university. Resorted to delivering flowers, lawn mowers and repossessing cars to pay for my education. Became a youth worker, climbing instructor and led expeditions of young people to foreign places. After an injury I ended up sweeping the streets and emptying wheelie bins for a while. These days I work at the Commando Training Centre, Royal Marines.

Repercussion is my first thriller. The sequel is a work in progress.
