Introduction by Dave Rutter
Starting at Greenwich Common at 0700 hrs on Sunday 5th October, Billy Morris completed the "Extreme Run" from London to the Brighton Pavilion in just over 14 hours in the most awful weather conditions. It was raining from the start and at times the weather conditions were diabolical. Although the official distance was 56 miles, due to slight deviations through poor route markings, he actually ran just under 62 miles. Most of the race was off road requiring the runners to map read their way through 5 check points. Ground conditions, as expected, varied from reasonable to ankle deep mud, and clambering over dozens of stiles etc made the going even more arduous. His efforts with your support has helped raise over £1,200 pounds (with more donations promised) for the charity Help for Heroes.
Well done Billy, it was a pleasure to be your driver/support for the event.
Can you now help me clean the inside and outside of my car?
