Lt Col (Retd) Brian Blakeway

Lt Col (Ret'd) Brian Blakeway passed away aged 94 on 27th June 2014

With David Orr and Tony Jones he was a founder member of 36 Queen Victoria's Own Madras Indian Airborne Squadron RIE, in early 1946.

He did his jumps in Chaklala in the Punjab, just prior to the change from WAAF packers to Indian packers, who initially got the ties in the wrong order, which led to four candles in one month and stopped jumping temporarily!
